Decapod Hoodie

Decapods, or Decapodiformes, is a superorder of Cephalopoda. Cephalopoda consists of octopus, squid, cuttlefish, and nautilus. Decapodiformes is specifically just squid and cuttlefish, with their 8 arms and 2 tentacles linking them.

I celebrate them with this new Save the Ocean Save the World design. I’ve updated the kelp sleeves and have the design on the front this time, compared to the original Save the Ocean Save the World design.

This hoodie will be printed on Future Fleece, clothing made of 100% regenerated yarn. The yarn is composed of post-consumer waste, as well as scraps left over from  the cutting stage of the garment manufacturing process.  Because the yarn is repurposed, the material forgoes the dying stage, which reduces energy consumption by approximately 80%, water consumption by approximately 75%, and chemical consumption by approximately 90%.
